JusticeServer`s volunteer portal was launched in 2013, and since then, Virginia`s pro bono attorneys have used JusticeServer to provide pro bono legal services in over 9,000 legal aid cases, of which more than 24,000 pro bono clients have served in a myriad of civil law cases (e.g., domestic relations, consumer law, housing, bankruptcy, employment, immigration). The system has also been used to provide pro bono legal services to hundreds of non-profit organizations through the GRBF`s pro bono clearing-house program. Today, more than 1,200 volunteer lawyers are registered to take pro bono cases on JusticeServer.
