Degree. The age of the candidate must not exceed 30 years on July 1st. Banaras Law School (BLS), Varanasi founded in 1923, is one of the top 25 law schools in India, including national law schools. The school is affiliated with the Hindu University of Banaras. The Faculty of Law`s innovative legal education reform programme has been adopted by the Bar Council of India at the national level, leading to changes in the model of legal education across the country. It was established as part of Banaras Hindu University as a law school, later it was renamed Banaras Law School and has consistently played an important role in revising legal education and is among the top ten law schools in India including national law schools. The Faculty of Law of Banaras was the first in the country to introduce the class method and the problem method into the teaching methodology at the LL.B. and LL.M.
