I used a single double-action pistol when I started shooting IDPA but wanted to go to DAO, so I started shooting and didn`t really like the Glock`s appearance until I picked it up and the visor alignment was exactly on the target when I first lifted it. So I bought it and have loved it ever since. The only ammunition problem I encountered was with Dousonic ammunition with a can installed. I don`t keep an eye on my number of laps as well as you do, but I know I`ve been through several laps of Tjoudnd. I do not disagree with anything in your contribution. The Canadian government announced today that it is moving forward with legislation that makes it illegal to buy, sell or import handguns domestically, without exception. I disagree. The Glock lacks ergonomics, decent stains and it now has a lower coating as they have abolished the Tenifer coating. The Walther PPQ M2 is far superior to that ugly old weapon. It`s 2016, how about putting a real trigger and a little ergonomics in the Glock? The PPQ has much better ergonomics, a great standard trigger (much better than anything Glock custom offers), and Walther has the tenifer coating that the Glock once had.
No comparison! Other seizures include a Walther PPK – James Bond`s side arm of choice – and a tiny GT27 Tangfoglio, an easy-to-hide pistol that, at 12 centimetres long from handle to tip, is only slightly longer than Canada`s legal minimum length for handgun barrels (10.5 centimetres). Messages from the Toronto Police Service`s “Firearms Seized” Twitter account suggest that the majority of criminal weapons seized by public servants are prohibited – illegal for Canadians except in extremely specific circumstances. Those who already own handguns are allowed to keep them. As there is still some time (hopefully) before the law comes into force, we are faced with the decision to choose which weapon(s) to buy while we still can, as this could be the last one we can legally buy in our lives! “While we have modified various models in the past to make them legal for Canada, the G48 was the first standard model to consider Canada`s compliance in design,” Cassells told TheGunBlog.ca today. TheGunBlog.ca — Glock GmbH, the manufacturer of the world`s best-selling handgun, has designed its new Model 48 pistol as the first standard weapon specifically designed for approval in Canada, one of the company`s largest recurring markets outside the United States. I`m quite new to Glock, question: you have Schleppglock -19 is that for the competition “have a weapon to replace if you have a problem”? . Or do you keep one specifically for Carry? If you have more than 80,000 cartridges, why should you get a second one? Despite efforts by federal and local politicians to end the legal possession of handguns, Toronto criminals prefer to pack illegal iron. Hi Joey, of course. I replaced the reversing spring, trigger spring and sliding stop spring several times and replaced the extractor, magazine manifold spring, impact spring and spring cups once each. I write exactly about this in another article here www.eaglegunrangetx.com/maintaining-your-glock/ Thank you Jason, Nice that you liked the article. As for a Glock 19, I recommend it as an EDC. Like any weapon, they regularly require good maintenance and replacement of certain parts, as described here www.eaglegunrangetx.com/maintaining-your-glock/.
As for the trigger, I find that I simply replace the grip with a good 3.5 lbs. The plug brings the trigger to about 4-4.5 lbs and smoothes it a bit. That`s all you need. For attractions, I recommend TruGlo FTX Pro – good for day and night (tritium and fiber combined). I hope this helps! Thank you for a vertically good and informative review. I`m sold on every Glock, even though I`m an immature shooter. I don`t shoot near the rounds you have, so your experience is particularly appreciated. One question, I have a 19 Gen4 and I now own a 27 Gen 4 in which I put a 9mm gun to replace the 40cal because I am more accurate with 9mm. Is Hornaday`s critical defense a good protection of the house and also confused as to whether to use the same thing in `19 or as someone told me, use critical duty for 19. Thank you Anyway, my grouping was the best with the 22 and 45, surprisingly.
But the 45 would certainly be too much for me for frequent fire and the 22 would not be recommended for self-defense. With my research, Glock 19 Gen 4 began. However, I didn`t fire any handguns today that were stackable in double, and that worries me a bit. I have fairly small fingers and a medium to slightly lower than average palm size (for a woman). Do you think the magnitude of this issue would be an issue? I will of course try a gun before buying, but try to narrow down a list and then contact the local areas to see what they are carrying. In general, do you have any recommendations that I should consider? Starting with the G19 Gen 4 “Canadian” in 2018, a version of the world`s most popular handgun, Glock began customizing some mid-size models for sale in Canada by expanding their guns to 106mm, a legal minimum. The G48 was the first model to be equipped with a 106mm gun as standard. First of all, a great Andy article, I hope to get more than 20,000 rounds of each high-quality firearm I buy without catosophical failure, and I believe that most Glocks could do this without any problems (except maintenance), I could see problems with the 10mm Glocks at such a high turn count. My CZ Po 9 probably went through @10,000 rds without any signs of stopping, but it also went through the Cajun armament for visors and springs a few thousand turns ago. I was looking for a nice EDC weapon and I`m interested in the Glock 19, what would be a good @4 lbs trigger and what brand of low-profile night vision devices would you recommend? Terrence, you might want to try aiming at the tip of the bullseye (upper center? of the target) or aiming so that the tip of your midpoint on your visor is just above the other 2 as follows • * • then adjust your target from there to your center of the bullseye?. I hope this does not help at all! All Glocks are reliable. Most would say that gen 3 belongs to most versions of Glock.
Tory initially dodged questions about how a ban would affect criminals with a clear preference for banned firearms, insisting that legally possessed handguns “regularly” end up in the hands of criminals.
