Business majors scored an average of 149, while criminal majors have a particularly low average of 146, according to the Law School Admission Council, which administers the LSAT. Humanities majors double their income with a law degree, compared to a double income for social science majors, and an increase of about 50 percent for businesses and STEM majors, according to study estimates available at SSRN. Instead of just listing a series of bulleted results on your resume, provide a few details. For example, if you led a group on a project for your teacher, write down what you did and describe the results of your work. This can help your teacher remember what you did so they can give concrete examples of your exemplary work in their letter of recommendation. Keep in mind that your letters of recommendation can be an important differentiator between you and other candidates who apply to top law schools like Harvard Law. Your bachelor`s grades, letters of recommendation, and essays should show that you are motivated and willing to work hard to succeed. You need to be intellectually curious and willing to stretch.
